A late equaliser from the spot handed Berekum Arsenals a share of the spoils in their 1-1 draw against Ebusua Dwarfs at the Len Clay Stadium on Sunday.

Dwarfs, playing in Obuasi, as they continue serving home suspension from last season were coasting to victory after taking the lead from a spot in the 76th minute.

Bright Lukman stepped up to put Dwarfs in the lead but in the 89th minute, all their efforts at guarding their solitary lead were undone when the visitors also earned a penalty.

Former Asante Kotoko midfielder Edmund Owusu Peprah stepped up to drill the spot kick past goalkeeper Foli Adade to put them level in a frenetic finish to the game as either side looked for the winner.
