Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs have been crowned champions of the 2026 X1 DOL Super Cup after defeating Semper Fi FC 5-4 on penalties at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi, following a 1-1 draw after 90 minutes.
The victory sees Ebusua Dwarfs lift the X1 DOL Super Cup for the first time in the club's history.
Semper Fi took the lead in the 28th minute through Francis Eshun, who scored his second goal of the competition with a well-taken free kick. Semper Fi dominated much of the first half and continued to control proceedings in the opening stages of the second half.
Ebusua Dwarfs, however, responded strongly after the break and found the equalizer in the 48th minute. They pounced on a loose ball inside the 18-yard box following a cross to bring the game level.
The match then developed into an end-to-end contest, with both sides creating opportunities but failing to find the decisive second goal. Referee Angelous Akurugu brought proceedings to an end after 90+4 minutes, sending the game into a penalty shootout.
Ebusua Dwarfs kept their composure from the spot, converting all five of their penalties to secure a 5-4 victory and claim the trophy.

Ebusua Dwarfs: Abdallah Ibrahim, Isaac Buckman, Godfred Eshun, Edward Gyepi Smith and Emmanuel Osei all converted.
Semper Fi: Gideon Rockson missed, while Salifu Abdulai, Emmanuel Adjei Laryea, Benedict Okyere and Prosper Gameli Waddei successfully converted their kicks.
Ebusua Dwarfs are now the 2026 X1 DOL Super Cup champions, securing the club's first-ever title in dramatic fashion.
