The Girls4Goals project is an innovative initiative aimed at empowering young girls and boys through sports, promoting gender equality and healthy lifestyles.

The project was implemented in the Volta Region of Ghana, specifically at the Dornorgbor M/A Basic School and A. vete M/A Basic School. The children engaged in a workshop on lifestyle education, covering essential topics on Self-confidence, Goal-setting and decision making and Healthy relationships and boundaries.

The workshop provided a safe and supportive environment, encouraging participants to share their thoughts and experiences. This interactive approach helped build trust and fostered a sense of community among the children.

The Girls 4 Goals project is designed to equip young girls and boys with the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed decisions about their lives. By empowering them, the project aims to create a ripple effect that will positively impact their communities and beyond.

The delegation was led by the GFA Deputy General Secretary (Admin) Ama Brobey Williams. Other members included Vera Addo (Consultant), Phyllis Marko (VP Ghalca) and Daasebre Adu Asare (GFA RFA Coordinator).
