Executive Council visit Black Galaxies at Prampram

The Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association has visited the Black Galaxies at the Ghanaman Centre of Excellence in Prampram ahead of their trip to Egypt for their pre-CHAN trainings camp.

The Council was led by Vice President Mark Addo. Others included Frederick Acheampong, Nana Sarfo Oduro and Samuel Anim Addo. Also with them was Vice Chairman of the Black Galaxies Management Committee Terry Maxwell Idam.

The visit was to wish the team well as they embark on a trip to Egypt on Saturday for an 18-day trainings camp in readiness for the Championship of African Nations tournament scheduled for Algeria from Friday, January 13 to Sunday, February 4, 2023.

The Black Galaxies will be making a record fourth appearance at the Championship having previously featured in 2009, 2011 and 2014 in Cote D’Ivoire, Sudan and South Africa respectively.

Ghana have been paired with Madagascar, Sudan and Morocco in Group C.

The Black Galaxies will open their tournament against Madagascar on Sunday, January 15, before taking on Sudan and Morocco in the other group matches.
