Local media agency, Optimum Media Prime has secured the media rights to all of Ghana's 2010 World Cup qualifying home games.

The Ghana Football Association on Tuesday signed the GH¢ 390,000 deal with representatives of OMP at its headquarters in Accra.

The package allows OMP exclusive television rights to the games for both free to air and pay TV to all of Ghana's three home games in qualifying campaign which begins in June.

President of the Ghana Football Association, Kwesi Nyantekyi said he has no doubt OMP will do a good job and meet the aspirations of all interested parties, insisting the deal is “a win, win situation” for everyone.

Both parties say they have reached a deal for six games with an eye on the second round of qualifying because they are convinced the Black Stars will get through the first qualifying group stage.

OMP, a media agency, says it will syndicate those games to both local and international television stations. The three guaranteed games will involve Ghana against Libya, Gabon and Lesotho.

“We syndicated the 2008 Nations Cup and went on all seven television stations here. We have a track record on delivering on things like this,” Ken Ashigbey, general manager of OMP, said.
