FIFA TDS: Ashanti and Greater Accra look to cement their top spots as Elite U15 Girls Championship reaches Day 3

The Ashanti and Greater Accra Regions, leaders of Group A and B respectively, look to consolidate their top spots as the take on their opponents on Match Day 3 of the ongoing Elite U15 Championship.

The Ashanti Region will play as visitors to Western Region in the first game of Day 3 in a crunchy duel.

Yet to win a game, the Western Region will have to fight for their first win against the group leaders to keep their hopes of staying the championship alive.

But Ashanti Region have shown in their two previous games that they have what it takes to beat the Western Region to keep a 100%-win rate in the competition.

In the other games in the group, northern region will come up against the Eastern Region while the Upper West region take on Brong Ahafo Region in the exhibition clash.

In Group B, Greater Accra will hope to keep their winning record against Central Region in the afternoon. The host region will hope to maintain their impeccable start to the championship while Central Region will be looking for their first win.

Other games in Group B include a clash between Volta Region and Upper West Region while Brong Ahafo Region take on Upper East Region in the exhibition match.

The Elite Girls U15 Championship is part of the FIFA Talent Development Scheme which aims at talent identification and development.
