FIFA TDS: Volta Region Maintains Winning Streak, Greater Accra Bounces Back in Elite U15 Boys Championship Group B

Volta Region and Greater Accra Region showcased their determination on Match Day 3 of the Elite U15 Boys Championship, part of the FIFA Talent Development Scheme, at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence in Prampram.

In the first Group B game of the afternoon, Volta Region displayed remarkable resilience to overcome a two-goal deficit, defeating Upper East Region 3-2. Upper East took the lead with two goals from Osman Hamdan, but Volta Region turned the match around after the break.

Emmanuel Aidoo scored a brace for Volta, and Famous Agamah netted the match-winner. Despite the loss, Saeed Ataaf of Upper East earned the MVP honours for his impressive performance.

Greater Accra Region also found their winning form, defeating Central Region 1-0 in a closely contested match. Emmanuel Wilson's decisive goal secured the victory, and his outstanding play throughout the game earned him the MVP award.

In the reserves fixture, Brong Ahafo Region dominated Upper West Region with a convincing 4-0 victory. Issaka Amadu's two goals, along with contributions from Adu Adjei Victor and Gideon Gyabaah, sealed the win. Adu Adjei's performance earned him the MVP recognition in this game.

The competition will take a break on Tuesday and resume on Wednesday, with more thrilling matches to look forward to in this exciting youth football tournament.

The Elite U15 Boys Championship is part of the FIFA Talent Development Scheme which aims at providing a platform for young football talents from across Ghana to showcase their skills and continue their development in a competitive environment.
