The FIFA Women's Football Campaign successfully organised a community outreach programme in Tumu, reinforcing the commitment to empowering girls through football, education and life skills.
The initiative brought together young participants, community members and stakeholders for an engaging session that combined football activities with vital educational discussions aimed at promoting the well-being and development of girls.
A key highlight of the programme was an interactive session on sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), where participants were educated on making informed decisions, personal health, and the importance of accessing accurate information and support services.
The campaign also featured discussions on gender rights and responsibilities, encouraging participants to understand the principles of equality, mutual respect and shared responsibility in building inclusive and safe communities.
Representing the Ghana Football Association was Women's Football Development Officer, Jennifer Amankwa Sarpong, who joined facilitators in engaging the participants.
