The GFA/ FIFA Women's Football Campaign continued its community outreach in Tumu with a health education session focused on the well-being of girls and young women.
Participants received practical information on personal hygiene, menstrual hygiene management, general wellness, and cervical cancer awareness, equipping them with the knowledge to make informed decisions about their health.
The interactive session encouraged open discussions, addressed common misconceptions, and highlighted the importance of healthy lifestyles, early detection, and seeking appropriate medical care when needed.
The initiative is part of the GFA / FIFA Women's Football Campaign's broader objective of using football as a platform to educate, empower and improve the lives of girls both on and off the pitch.
