Football4Girls Initiative gains momentum in Sunyani

The innovative Football4Girls initiative in Sunyani is gaining well-deserved attention and achieving success, thanks to the collaborative efforts of the Technical Directorate and the Ghana Education Service.

This program aligns with the Ghana Football Association's (GFA) Women's Football Strategy, aimed at nurturing young talents in every basic school. The goal is to provide girls with unhindered access to football, breaking down obstacles and interference.

The program in Sunyani was attended by Dr. Charles Osei Antoh, Chairman of the Brong Ahafo Regional Football Association (BARFA), Fortune Nii Adotey, BARFA Vice Chairman, Madam Edwin Nancy Glover, BARFA Women's Executive Council representative, Head Teachers, teachers, and staff of basic schools in the Sunyani Metropolis.

Jennifer Amankwah, Head of Women's Football Development, led the program, outlining the vision, purpose, aim, and mission of the Women's Football Strategy to kids, parents, and stakeholders. This empowers them to support and guide their wards.

The Ghana Football Association reaffirms its dedication to promoting grassroots women's football development through the Football4Girls Project and Women's Football Strategy plan, ensuring necessary support for its growth.
