The Ghana Football4Girls program has officially kicked off in Dormaa Ahenkro-Aboabo, Brong Ahafo region, with a vibrant launch ceremony. This initiative aims to nurture young talents in basic schools, ensuring every girl has access to play football without any obstacles, as part of our Women's Football Strategy.
The program has the support of key stakeholders, including Chairman of thye Brong Ahafo Regional Football Association (BARFA) Dr. Charles Osei Antoh, Vice Chairman, Fortune Nìi Adotey, and Women’s Football Executive Council representative Edwin Nancy Glover.
Jennifer Amankwaa Sarpong, Head of Women's Football Development, spearheaded the program and shared the aim, vision, and mission of the Women's Football Strategy with parents and girls To empower girls to play football, parents were encouraged to provide guidance, resources, and positive communication. Inspiring success stories were also shared to motivate the young girls.
The fan games included a physical education session, and T-shirts and equipment were distributed to create awareness.

The Ghana Football Association is committed to promoting grassroots women's football through the Women's Strategy plan and Football4Girls Project. This initiative is a significant step towards developing women's football in Ghana.
