Brong Ahafo Champions, Fosu Royal Ladies proved a difficult task for Kunkua Ladies at the Bantama Astro Turf in Kumasi Tuesday.
Eunice Pokuaa ballooned the ball beyond the reach of Kunkua goalkeeper to put Fosu Royals Ladies in the lead.
Patricia Adgyei added the second after she pounced on a howler from Kunkua ladies goalkeeper in the 4th minute to extend the lead for the techiman based team.
Alberta Owusu added a third before Kunkua Ladies pulled two back through Ziporah Ayantoya and Joyce Akolga.
The one sided game saw Gloria Ameaa score a hat trick whilst Sharifa Salifu registered her name on the score sheet to end the game 7:2 in favour of Fosu Royal Ladies.
Savannah Ladies hosted Kumasi Sports Academy seeking to extend their lead at the top but the Kumasi based club managed an important win to take them second on the table.
Zenabu Issifu scored an early goal in the 9th minute to give Kumasi Sports Academy the lead which they held onto till the end of the first half.
Savannah Ladies created goal scoring chances but Karima Abdulai was wasteful upfront.
With a solo effort right through the midfield,Gertrude Amoafo scored a solo goal to extend the lead for Kumasi Sports Academy.
Savannah Ladies pushed for a consolation but the game ended 2:0. The results puts Kumasi Sports Academy in the second spot with Savannah ladies moving to the third position.
