Fosu Royal Ladies maintained their place at the top of the table in the Northern zone after drawing 1:1 with Kumasi Sports Academy Ladies Saturday.
The sides went into the game locked on 12 points and having secured a spot in next seasons Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League.
The tough contest failed to produce goals in the first half but Belinda Agyei put Fosu Royals in the lead as she got on the end of a great team play to slot home.
Kumasi Sports Academy Kerrie McCarthy’s long pass found Christable Marfo who made no mistake in drawing parity for her side.
After several missed chances, the game ended 1:1, keeping Fosu Ladies’ at the top of the table in the Northern Zone.
Real Crusaders picked up their first win after defeating Kunkua Ladies 4:3.
Vera Yeboah scored a brace before Latifa Angonnkuu added a third for Real Crusaders in the first half of the game.
After recess, Zipporah Ayantoya pulled one back for Kunkua Ladies but that was short lived when Vera Yeboah scored a hat trick to make it 4:1 for Real Crusaders.
Zipporah Ayantoya and Atampugre Mariama scored for Kunkua Ladies to make it 4:3.
Kunkua pushed for an equaliser but Real Crusaders defended their lead to pick up their first points in the Regional Women’s Championship.
