The free License D Coaching Course being offered by the Ghana Football Association's (GFA) is set to kick off in the Upper East Region on August 28, 2024.
The week-long program will be hosted at the Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku Sports Complex in Winkogo, concluding on September 4, 2024.
A total of 40 participants have been selected for this course, including 30 coaches from various colts clubs within the region and 10 women’s club coaches.
This initiative is part of the GFA's ongoing efforts to enhance coaching standards across the country, particularly at the grassroots level.
The course will be led by experienced instructors, including former Black Stars goalkeeper and CAF Instructor Abukari Damba, alongside U20 deputy manager Fatawu Salifu.
Their expertise will guide the participants through various aspects of coaching, ensuring they are well-equipped to contribute to the development of football in Ghana.
The GFA's commitment to continuous coach education is expected to impact the local football landscape significantly, especially in nurturing young talent in the Upper East Region.
