The Ghana Football Association's (GFA) free License D coaching course has successfully concluded in the Upper East Region.

The course, which ran from late August and ended on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, was part of the GFA's ongoing effort to develop grassroots football coaching across the country.

Renowned instructors Abukari Damba and Fatawu Salifu led the course, providing valuable insights and technical skills to aspiring coaches in the region.

The participants were taken through various modules including match tactics, player development, and the fundamentals of coaching.

The initiative is part of the GFA’s vision to improve the standard of coaching in the country, equipping grassroots coaches with the necessary tools to nurture the next generation of football talent.

The License D certification allows participants to begin their coaching journey and contribute to the development of football at the grassroots level.

The course participants are now expected to take what they have learned back to their communities and contribute to football development in the region.
