Futsal Premier League: Tsatsu Saviour is player of the season

Tsatsu Savior received his prize as the best player of the 2022/23 Futsal Premier League season following a stellar performance in the competition. The youngster played an instrumental role for his team, San Siro FC to win the title over giants AMG FC. Saviour was the key man in midfield for the champions from the start of the League through to the final on Sunday. His combination play, swift build up and amazing dribbling skills caught the attention of the technical study group as he was awarded the best player of the season accolade.

In other individual awards:

Francois Aryeetey - was adjudged as best coach of the League after guiding San Siro FC to the title, having finished the season with an unbeaten record.

Raphael Tsigbe – won the goalkeeper of the League after leading his side to win the title. Tsigbe led by example as he conceded the least number of goals (25) in the entire season and provided the needed shield for the backline.

Top scorer – DAKOTA FC finished the season in 3rd place but their star man Kweku Aseidu scored 31 goals to win the top scorers award. His goals proved very vital in his sides’ second place finish in the zonal League – catapulting them a Bronze winning feat in the League.

The awards were presented by President Kurt Edwin Simon-Okraku on Sunday.
