GARFA Women's FA Cup: Hearts of Oak female side Oak Ladies Held at Home, Sissamba Ladies Edge Christ Angels in Thriller

The Greater Accra Regional Football Association (GARFA) Women’s FA Cup kicked off with exciting fixtures as teams battled for supremacy in the maiden edition of the competition.

Hearts of Oak’s female side, Oak Ladies FC, were held to a 1-1 draw at home by a resilient G.R.A Ladies FC in a keenly contested match. Despite creating several chances, Oak Ladies were unable to secure all three points as G.R.A Ladies put up a solid performance to earn a share of the spoils.

In another thrilling encounter, Sissamba Ladies secured a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Christ Angels FC. The match saw end-to-end action, with Sissamba Ladies showing resilience to edge past their determined opponents.

Elsewhere, Rock Ladies produced a stunning display, securing a massive 7-3 away victory over Starlets Ladies in one of the most dominant performances of the round.

Teshie Constant Ladies also registered an emphatic 6-1 win over Ideal Ladies in another commanding away performance.

With the competition heating up, more exciting games are expected as teams fight for a place in the next stage of the tournament.
