The Ghana Football Association (GFA) and TECNO Ghana have officially entered into a sponsorship partnership following a public signing ceremony held at the Conference Room of the GFA Secretariat in Accra.
The agreement sees TECNO Ghana become an Official Partner of the Ghana Football Association, further strengthening the Association's efforts to leverage innovation and technology in the development of football across the country.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Ernest Sonkor, National Channel Manager for Tecno, announced the details of the sponsorship package, which includes the provision of 100 units of TECNO's flagship Camon 50 smartphone and 100 performance-tracking devices to support football development and enhance player performance monitoring.
He added: "This partnership goes beyond sponsorship. It represents a shared commitment to excellence, innovation and the development of football from the grassroots to the elite level. We are proud to align our brand with the vision and aspirations of the Ghana Football Association."
He further noted that the support from TECNO would contribute significantly to football development initiatives across the country. "The provision of smartphones and performance-tracking devices demonstrates TECNO's understanding of the evolving needs of modern football. These resources will help strengthen our development programmes and support our efforts to improve performance through technology and innovation," he added.
The ceremony concluded with the formal signing of the agreement and an exchange of souvenirs, marking the beginning of a partnership that both organizations believe will contribute meaningfully to the continued growth and modernization of football in Ghana.
