The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has officially set Thursday, August 20, 2026 as the date for its 32nd Ordinary Congress, in line with Article 31(2) of its Statutes.

The annual statutory meeting will take place at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram, bringing together key stakeholders in Ghana football to deliberate on the state and future of the game.

The Congress serves as a major platform for reflection, planning, and decision-making ahead of the new football season, with discussions expected to focus on competitions, development programmes, governance, and strategic direction for Ghana football.

In accordance with the GFA Statutes, members of the Association have been duly notified to allow adequate preparation ahead of the event.

A formal convocation containing the agenda, activity reports, financial statements, and auditors’ report will be circulated prior to the Congress.

The full day's meeting will also provide an opportunity for the Executive Council to engage with club representatives, Technical officials, and stakeholders to review progress made and address key challenges affecting the sport.

The GFA has encouraged all delegates to prepare adequately for the productive engagements and Congress, as the Association continues its efforts to strengthen and develop football across all levels in Ghana.
