GFA boosts Matchday Security with training workshop for Division One League Clubs on Monday

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is set to organize a training workshop for CEOs, team managers, and top officials of Division One League clubs. The workshop, scheduled for Monday, February 24, 2025, via Zoom, aims to enhance the implementation of approved Matchday Safety and Security Protocols.

Key Objectives:

  • Effective implementation of Enhanced Matchday Safety and Security Protocols
  • Clarify responsibilities of clubs, management, and safety and security officers
  • Scenario analysis and open discussion between facilitators and participants
  • Educating fan base, coaches, players, and staff on Code of Conduct and best practices
  • Compliance regime, enforcement processes, and working relationships with match officials and security personnel

The workshop is expected to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to ensure a safe and secure environment for matches.

The Access Bank Division One League is indeed taking a one-week break to make way for the Round of 16 matches of the MTN FA Cup.
