The Ghana Football Association sends a warm message of congratulations to Ashantigold Sporting Club for winning the 2014/2015 First Capital Plus Premier League.

Ashantigold’s victory came after a nineteen-year wait for another Premier League title since their last victory in 1996.

This victory is by dint of hard work and perseverance and the GFA commends players, management, supporters and everyone connected to Ashantigold for their effort in writing another golden chapter in the history of the club.

As Ashantigold prepares to represent Ghana in the CAF Champions League, the GFA urges them to continue to work hard to be worthy ambassadors of Ghanaian football.

The GFA is confident Ashantigold can emulate the remarkable campaign the club had in Africa in the early 90s.
