GFA organizes maiden workshop on the Club Licensing Online platform for CAF Club Licensing applicants
The Club Licensing Department of the Ghana Football Association has organized a one-day workshop on the newly introduced Club Licensing Online Platform(CLOP) for four clubs who have applied for this year's CAF Inter-club License.
The maiden workshop which took place at the GFA headquarters on Monday, June 13, is the first of series of training programmes to be conducted by the department in line with the implementation of the CLOP.
CAF earlier this year launched the CLOP as a means of undergoing the licensing process instead of the traditional means of applying.
The club licensing officers of the four clubs including League champions Medeama SC, runners up Aduana FC and FA Cup finalists Dreams FC and King Faisal FC were taking through the new regulations and a practical session on the application process.
Also in attendance were General Secretary Prosper Harrison Addo and members of the Club Licensing Committee. The GFA shall in July, organise additional workshops for the other Premier League, Women’s Premier League and Division One League clubs.
The GFA shall fully implement the use of the CLOP for all domestic licensing process for the 2023/24 season.
