President Simeon-Okraku leads delegation to one week celebration of late Black Stars fitness trainer
In a touching display of solidarity and compassion, President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Edwin Simeon Okraku, has paid tribute to the late Black Stars fitness trainer Ricky Roy Romeo by signing a book of condolences on Saturday, May 11, 2024.
The GFA President was joined by members of the football family who attended the one-week celebration of the late Ricky Roy Romeo, which took place in Accra on Saturday.

The delegation was made up of a host of football administrators, including GFA Executive Council member Samuel Aboabire, President of Dreams FC Jiji Mohammed Alifoe, GFA Communications Director Henry Asante Twum, Black Stars physiotherapist Samuel Kwame Ankomah, and Michael Osekre, President of Vision FC, where Ricky was serving as a club official.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, the GFA Director of Communications reaffirmed to the family the GFA's deepest condolences and its commitment to collaborating closely with them to ensure the late Ricky receives a dignified funeral.
The Book of Condolences, adorned with messages from friends and members of the football family, serves as a testament to the impact the late fitness trainer had on all he came into contact with.
The final funeral rites will take place at Burma Camp on the weekend of June 14-16,2024.
