The Football Association is set to host a one-day virtual seminar on safety and security for Premier League clubs as part of preparations for the 2026/27 season.
The seminar, scheduled to take place between August 26 and 28, 2026, will equip clubs with the knowledge and practical guidance required to effectively implement the Enhanced Matchday Safety and Security Protocols and comply with the Premier League Regulations.
The virtual engagement will focus on the critical responsibilities of club management and designated Safety and Security Officers in ensuring that matchdays are conducted in a safe, secure and well-organised environment.
Participants will also examine measures to strengthen coordination and preparedness before, during and after matches, with particular emphasis on risk prevention, crowd management and effective matchday operations.
A key component of the seminar will be the need for clubs to actively educate and engage fans, coaches, players and staff on the official Code of Conduct, while promoting responsible behaviour and adherence to established safety and security best practices.
The 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season is scheduled to kick off on the weekend of September 4–7, 2026, with the campaign set to conclude on the weekend of May 28–31, 2027.
