The Ghana Football Association (GFA) will host the GFA eTrophy Championship, the penultimate national tournament to select top gamers to represent the country in the FIFAe Nations Cup to be held in Denmark this July.
The championship will be hosted at the plush Alisa Hotels, North Ridge, Accra this Saturday, 14th May, 2022.
The pre-qualifiers were held at 16 video gaming centers across the country in over seven regions which had 95 players competing for the limited slots of 32.
The pre-qualifiers had 128 gamers who registered to play to win a slot for the championship.
As measure to get top gamers to participate, the nine esports clubs in Ghana already verified by FIFA to play in the FIFAe Club Series were given automatic slots for one top player each from their teams. The remaining 23 slots were battled for by the other gamers.
The players who have qualified to battle it out at Alisa Hotels this Saturday for a slot in the FIFAeNational Team to be outdoored by the GFA are as follows:

After the GFA eTrophy Championship, six top winners will form the GFA’s FIFAe National Team who will represent Ghana at the FIFAe Nations Cup.
They will go through rigorous training regime to get them ready for the competitive international assignment.
The GFA eTrophy Championship is organized by the Ghana Football Association in partnership with Esports Association, Ghana, Alisa Hotels and Genet Services.
