GFA wishes FC Samartex 1996, Nsoatreman FC and Hasaacas Ladies well in Africa campaigns
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has wished FC Samartex 1996 and Nsoatreman FC, as well as Hasaacas Ladies, well in their 2024/25 CAF Inter-club competitions campaigns.
President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, on behalf of the Executive Council of the GFA and the entire football family in Ghana, extended a goodwill message to the Clubs as they pursue glory in Africa this season.
Premier League champions, FC Samartex 1996, have traveled to Cameroon to face Victoria United FC, in a historic clash in the preliminary round of the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League, while Nsoatreman FC are at home to Chadian side Elect Sport FC in the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup. Both games will be played on Sunday, August 18, 2024.
Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League champions, Hasaacas Ladies FC, are in Bouke, Ivory Coast, playing in the WAFU B qualifiers for the sole ticket to the CAF Women’s Champions League.
With the financial support given to Hasaacas Ladies FC, the GFA and Ghanaians have urged the 2023/24 Malta Guinness Premier League champions, to go all out to win the WAFU Zone B qualifiers, despite the setback in the initial matches.
The GFA is also providing financial and administrative support to FC Samartex 1996 and Nsoatreman FC, as they embark on their African journey.
"We believe in your capabilities and your will to be victorious, as the champions you are, and we know you will make us proud" he stated.
All three clubs have the nation's support to do well in their CAF Interclub competitions.
