Ghana earned a draw against Angola in the friendly international at Cidadela Stadium after the tie finished goalless.
The match went on as planned for the Black Stars coach Milovan Rajevac who handed some young members in his squad starting places.
Regular starters, Richard Kingson, Jonathan Quartey and Eric Addo were unused substitutes for game.
Though the fixture was used to test the match venue for next year's African Nations Cup, the game served as a preparations for both nations.
The Palancas Negras, playing before Angolan head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos and an expectant home crowd started much sharper in their attempt to break the deadlock.
But Ghana's backline of John Painstil, Rahim Ayew, Lee Addy and Isaac Vorsah shielded goalkeeper Daniel Agyei who was making his senior's debut.
Agyemang Badu made a rare start in the middle alongside Anthony Annan with support on the flanks from Andre Ayew and Opoku Agyemang.
Ghana showed much effort upfront where Dominic Adiyiah and Kwadwo Asamoah led the line but failed to find target.
The Black Stars’ best moment in the first half came after 46 minutes but Andre Aye’s shot at goal cannoned off the goalpost.
In the second half, Rajevac made some changes bringing on Matthew Amoah for Dominic Adiyiah in his first substitution.
Matthew could have broken the deadlock for Ghana in the 68th minute but after picking a pass from Kwadwo Asamoah, he could not find target.
Later in the game, Rajevac sent on Mark Sekyere for Agyemang Badu before making his third substitution in the closing stages of the game when he took off Andre Ayew for Aziz.
