Ghana is preparing to host the final phase of the CAF African Schools Football Championship from April 21-26, 2025. The Continental Finals will be held at the University of Ghana's Legon Sports Stadium.
Eight teams have qualified for the boys' tournament:
They include, Ghana, Tanzania, Uganda, South Africa, Cote d'Ivoire, Algeria, DR Congo and Senegal.
This marks the first time the event will be held in West Africa, following previous editions in South Africa (2023) and Tanzania (2024). The tournament, launched by CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe, aims to develop young football talent across the continent.
The qualified teams will compete for the coveted trophy over the six-day event. The competition format will involve splitting the teams into two groups, with the top two from each group advancing to the semi-finals.
