Ghana suffered an excruciating defeat in the 1st leg of the Futsal Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers at the University of Cape Coast Sports Hall on Friday.

The teams quest for qualifying to the 2024 Futsal Africa Cup of Nations got off a rocky start as Ghana lost 4-0 to Cote D'Ivoire in a thrilling game.

Ghana Coach Philip Boakye will hope his team bounces back in the 2nd leg which will be played in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire next weekend.

The winner over the two legs will progress to the 2024 Futsal Africa Cup of Nations.
