Gyan, Appiah win awards

Asamoah Gyan picked up two awards at the maiden National Player Awards held at the State Banquet Hall on Friday.

The striker emerged winner in the Top Scorer and the Most Valuable Player category in the Black Stars Division.

Ex Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah edged Richard Kingson to the Most Dedicated Player award in the same division.

Honours were bestowed on retired and active Ghanaian players for their contribution towards the development of Ghana football.
