Ghana and Rennes striker Asamoah Gyan is remaining focused on for the up-coming Ligue 1 season despite reports linking him to the English Premiership.
Gyan, according to reports in France is interesting Everton manager David Moyes.
Despite having struggled with injuries in debut season in France for Rennes, Moyes is said to be an admirer of the talented forward.
"I am relaxed about the link with Everton and am focusing on preparing myself for hopefully an injury-free season.
"Everton is a great club, and maybe one day I will play for them.
"You never know in football, but for me I am preparing to start the season with Rennes," Gyan said.
The Black Stars player is seen as a recognised striker with Moyes making no secret about his desire bolster his attacking options having led Everton through most of last season without a recognised striker.
Rennes are said to be keen on keeping Gyan at the club, whilst the player himself admits he is expecting to stay with the French side.
