Ghana midfielder Haminu Draman is attracting interest from Premiership sides Blackburn Rovers and Stoke City.
The two sides are tracking Haminu who would be available for about £2.5million from Lokomotiv Moscow.
Haminu, 23, was linked to similar moves before the start of the season in 2008 but Lokomotiv were unwilling to let him go as they wanted to keep him until the end of the Russian season.
The player remains a member of the Black Stars, seeking a second successive berth at the World Cup finals.
Haminu, then 19, was part of Ghana's 2006 World Cup squad that reached the final 16.
