Sekondi Hasaacas have moved to second on the First Capital Plus Premier League table after beating Inter Allies at the Essipong Stadium on Saturday.

Kojo Poku and Tenneson Opoku scored for " the Giants of the West" before Eliasu Fuseini equalized for Inter Allies in the 78th minute.

Going into halftime with a 1-0 lead, Coach Yussif Bassigi's side came into the second half with the intention to secure all the maximum points.

And their determination was rewarded a minute after the hour mark as Opoku's strike beat Osei Kwame in post for Inter Allies.

Fuseini pulled one back for Inter Allies but it wasn't enough to help the visitors secure another win after their home victory the previous week.

Inter Allies are now sixth on the League table whiles Hasaacas now lie just below leaders AshantiGold.

Seven other matches will be played on Sunday to complete the match day 8 round of matches.
