Hasaacas' top-four hopes received a major boost after thumping 10-man Wa All Stars 3-0 on Saturday in the Premier League at the Essipon Stadium.

The in-form Sekondi have now moved to third with 35 points on the standings and are close to confirming their place in next season's campaign, having returned to the elite division from Division One at the start of the 2013-14 campaign.

Alex Arhinful opened the scoring after 19 minutes to give the home side the lead before recess.

Back from the break, Roger Lamptey doubled the scores in the 76th minute before Wa All Stars' Kofi Yeboah was shown the red card two minutes later.

Hasaacas' did not end the rout as Frederick Quayeson sealed it with the third goal in injury time.
