Havedzi BSC coach Kumensah Innocent Kwadzo has made it clear that they are determined to win the Beach Soccer title ahead of Sunday's epic final against Layoca BSC.

Havedzi will take on Layoca in a tantalising final at the Ada Beah Soccer Arena on Sunday January 26, 2025.

Coach Kumensah Innocent Kwadzo, a former Black Sharks defender, is eager to lead his players to the historic title against their opponent.

“We’ve worked tirelessly to get to this point, and we’re not satisfied with anything less than the trophy. We’ve come too far to fall short now,” Kumensah declared

Havedzi BSC has been a force to be reckoned with in this year’s competition, with standout displays from their attacking lineup which resulted in the club scoring a total of 46 goals during the season.

The Head Coach credited the team’s resilience and focus, which have been key to their path to the final.

“We’ve faced tough challenges, but our players have shown incredible character. They’ve fought hard to earn their place in this final, and they’re ready to give their all on Sunday,” he said.

He said his outfit will maintain their composure to cross the finish line . “We know Layoca BSC is a strong team, but we believe in ourselves. Our philosophy has always been to play with intensity, discipline, and we’ll bring that same energy on Sunday." he explained.

Both teams are entering the final with impressive form, and the match promises to be an intense and closely contested affair. Fans are eagerly anticipating the clash between Layoca BSC’s tactical prowess and Havedzi BSC’s explosive attacking play.

The curtain-raiser match between Totimekope BSC and Otrokpe BSC, two local teams, is scheduled to begin at 2:45pm on Sunday, with the final game set to kick off at 3:30pm.

With both coaches confident in their teams’ abilities, one thing is certain: this final will be one to remember. Whoever emerges victorious will take home not only the championship trophy but also the pride of being crowned Ghana’s best beach soccer team for the year 2024.
