Heart of Lions recorded their best-ever season in the top-flight as they finished second to secure their debut qualification to the CAF Champions League.
Though Lions lost heavily, 3-1 to AshantiGold, they managed to pick the CAF Champions League ticket one point ahead of rivals, Heart of Oak who were undone late on their game with New Edubiase as they drew 2-2.
Awudu Nafiu, Shaffiu Mumuni and Emmanuel Osei scored all three for the Miners at the Len Clay Stadium to hand them a top-four finish.
Isaac Quansah's goal, which was an equaliser to the opening game could only serve as a consolation after full-time.
At the Wa Park, home team Wa All Stars played out a goalless draw with Liberty Professionals.
Elsewhere in Tarkwa, Medeama rallied from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Hasaacas.
Samuel Afful scored a brace to put Hasaacas in the lead before the 20th minute but the Mauves after recess managed to hit back through Malik Akowuah and Godbless Asamoah.
