Hearts of Lions handed Wa Allstars their first home defeat of the season as they won 1-0 at the Wa Park.

Samuel Yeboah scored the only goal of the game minutes after the second half started.

The result which ends All Stars unbeaten home ran this season has also sent them 11th on the League table with Lions now 5th.

Medeama SC secured a 3-2 victory over Great Olympics at the Tarkwa T & A Park on Wednesday.

In the game that had a very entertaining first half, Agbashie Doetse opened the scoring for the away team in the 9th before Bature Benjamin got the equalizer for Medeama before Joseph Zutah shot them into the lead in the 25th minute.

But Doetse was not done for the day as he scored his second to bring the game back on level terms.

However Kwame Boahene’ s 38th minute striker gave Medeama all the three points as they moved 10th on the League table.

Great Olympics are now bottom of the League log with six points after seven matches.

In other matches, WAFA beat Liberty Professionals 2-0 whiles New Edubiase earned a surprise 2-1 victory over Hearts of Oak at the Accra Stadium.
