Accra Hearts of returned to the top of the Premier League table after beating Hasaacas 1-0 at the Essipong Stadium.

Striker Cosmos Dauda's beautiful back heel strike in the second gave new Hearts coach, Sergio Traguil's first win in charge, and the win was enough to send the Phonians on top after slip ups by their title rivals.

Wa All Stars, Asante Kotoko and Aduana Stars all failed to win, and Hearts of Oak took full advantage by winning to maintain their proud away record in the league.

In Sogakope, WAFA stunned Wa All Stars with two first half goals to dislodge the Northeners from the top of the table.

Kennedy Boateng and Komlan Agbeignedan were on target for the academy boys in the first half. Kelvin Andoh's late strike for All Stars was not enough to save them from defeat, thus bringing them down the league table to second.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko missed the chance to go top of the table after a frustrating goalless draw with Bechem United.

With All Stars losing in Sogakope, the Porcupine Warriors would have occupied top spot had they beaten Bechem in Kumasi.

Another title chasers, Aduana Stars were held to a draw at their favorite turf in Dormaa by New Edubiase.

Nathaniel Asamoah put Aduana in front, but the visitors stunned the hosts with an equalizer by James Boadu to hand them a priceless away point.

In Dansoman, Dreams FC continued with their fine away form with an impressive victory over Liberty Professionals. Experienced striker Eric Gawu was the hero as he scored the only goal of the match.

Stephen Owusu also scored the only goal of the match as Chelsea defeated EBUSUA Dwarfs in Berekum. The result leaves Dwarfs still in the bottom three of the table.

Defending champions, Ashantigold continued with their renaissance in the second half of the league with a home win over Inter Allies. Emmanuel Baffuor scored the only goal of the match.
