Ghana will take on Mali in a crucial Group clash at the 2012 African Cup of Nations on Saturday, and Samuel Inkoom has no doubt that the Black Stars will relish their chance to make it a second win.
Both sides are level on three points after Ghana beat Botswana 1-0 in their first game while Mali also won by same scoreline against Guinea on Tuesday.
A win for either side would confirm their place in the next round of the competition.
“It’s going to be a big game against Mali and we respect them," Inkoom said on Thursday after training.
“The stakes are high for both teams and we both know what the result would mean to our separate campaigns.”
Inkoom says the chance to get one over the Malians is an opportunity that the Black Stars are prepared to achieve.
“We are very confident and believe we have enough quality to match them. In this competition, you would always have to play the best and we are prepared to play every other team.”
