Inter Allies are currently level on points with second after beating Heart of Lions 2-1 at the Tema Stadium on Saturday.
Skipper Baba Mensah shot Inter Allies into the lead in the 28th minute before Frederick Opoku Yamoah doubled the lead before the first half ended.
After John Kufour's 69th minute red card, Hearts of Lions were handed a heavy task as Inter Allies capitalised on the numerical advantage to push for more goals.
However Lions managed to pull one back after Isaac Quansah scored in the 92nd minute.
Lions who are lying just above 13th placed Hearts of Oak could move to the relegation zone if the phobians mange a win in tomorrow’s Super Clash.
