KGL U17 Colts: Prince Amoako and Isaac Aku-Tetteh clinch MVPs after Day 8

Greater Accra's Prince Amoako and Eastern Region winger, Isaac Aku-Tetteh were adjudged the Most Valuable Players (MVPs) after Day 8 of the KGL Foundation Inter-Regional U17 Colts Championship, on Friday August 2, 2024.

Amoako impressed for the capital side in their 2-0 win over Upper West to go top of Group B, while Aku-Tetteh delivered a top performance for Eastern Region in their vital 1-0 win over Western Region to wrap up Friday's Group B matches.

The Championship fixtures in Group A on Saturday August 3, 2024, will see Northern Region battling it out with Central Region at 10am local time before Volta Region take on Brong Ahafo at 14:00GMT (2pm local time).

The matches of the Championships are being telecast live to various platforms including the GFA Official Facebook page and Max TV.

The KGL Foundation Inter-Regional U17 Colts Championship, launched in 2021, has been an avenue for talent discovery for clubs, particularly Premier and Division One League clubs, with several players being beneficiaries of the esteemed competition.

The ten Regional Football Associations have selected the best U17 players from their Colts competitions to represent their regions in the Championship which is aimed at identifying, training and developing young talents for the national youth teams.
