Richard Kissi Boateng is handed a starting role for Ghana as the Black Stars face Sudan in a crucial 2014 World Cup qualifying match on Sunday.
Kissi Boateng will play at left-back and provide defensive cover for goalkeeper Fatau Dauda.
Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah has also decided to go with two strikers up-front as Asamoah Gyan and Majeed Waris lead the line against the Nile Crocodiles at the Baba Yara Stadium. Kick off is at 16:00GMT.
The Black Stars head into the match in Kumasi sitting second and three points behind Zambia in the Group D campaign.
