Asante Kotoko managed to preserve their unbeaten run in the Glo Premier League but missed the chance to close in at the top of the standings.

The Porcupine Warriors drew 0-0 with New Edubiase at the Baba Yara Stadium, their sixth draw of the season.

And the result leaves Mas-Ud Didi Dramani's charges sixth on the table and three points adrift the top.

Though Kotoko are three points ahead of rivals, Hearts of Oak, the points dropped against Edubiase represents a setback in their title defence campaign.

Dramani will now have to prepare the side for the crucial fixture over the weekend against an in-form Ebusua Dwarfs as they travel to the Robert Mensah Stadium on Sunday.
