Asante Kotoko earned a share of the spoils in their midweek fixture against Aduana Stars which ended 0-0 on Wednesday.
The result, however did not threaten the lead by the Porcupine Warriors at the top as they rather extended their build up by one point following defeat to second-placed team, Hearts of Oak.
Though Kotoko will rue their failure to pick all three points at the Agyemang-Badu Park, the results after match-day-18 will be gratifying as they have now opened a 7-point lead.
