They seldom meet in the off-season but on Sunday, Asante Kotoko and Heart of Oak will begin their special two-leg tie.

The Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi will host the first leg clash of the game which seeks to raise funds for charity.

With a premier league fixture clash set for November 20, their two-leg off-season contest will certainly set the heighten their rivalry as they share 41 league titles between them.

Kumasi-based referee Patrick Kojo Kyeremateng will handle Sunday's game and will be assisted on the lines by Eric Owusu Mensah and Ali Musah Plato.

The second leg would be played on October 1 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
