Asante Kotoko held Medeama to a goalless draw in their First Capital Plus Premier League Match day 21 tie played at the T & A park on Sunday.
The home side were determined to avenge their loss to Kotoko in their first round match played in Kumasi but despite the chances that fell their way, Medeama just couldn’t break the deadlock.
Kotoko on the other hand had the clearest opportunity to secure all three points from the game when Referee Samuel Sukah awarded the Porcupine Warriors a 90th minute penalty.
Striker Amed Toure however failed to convert as the game ended with a barren scoreline.
Medeama and Kotoko are tied on 29 points apiece at 9th and 10th position on the League log respectively.
Elsewhere, BA United put up a resilient performance at the Wa Stadium as they held All Stars to a goalless in their week 21 game.
United are now on 17 points and still lying bottom of the log while Wa All Stars are 5th on the league table.
