The pressure is building in the camp of Asante Kotoko after the champions drew their third straight match in the Glo Premier League on Sunday.

Playing before an expectant crowd at the Baba Yara Stadium, the Porcupine Warriors could only start the reign of coach Mas-ud Didi Dramani with a 1-1 draw with Heart of Lions.

Both sides scored from the spot in the closing stages of the game to share the spoils.

Kofi Nti Boakye put Kotoko ahead in the 82nd minute when he stepped up to convert a penalty awarded the home side after Nafiu Iddrisu was felled in the box.

Kotoko appeared to be coasting to victory when Lions were also awarded a penalty in injury time and attacker Nana Egyir dispatched his kick to leave the home fans frustrated.

Didi Dramani, making his premiership debut now faces a tough task as he leads Kotoko to the Agyemang Badu Park to face Aduana Stars on Wednesday.
