Ten-man Asante Kotoko were held to a 1-1 draw by Hasaacas at the Essipon Stadium on Wednesday in the Premier League.

Despite dropping two vital points, the Porcupine Warriors' lead at the summit remains intact after close contenders, Heart of Lions could only draw at home.

Yakubu Issah gave Kotoko the lead after 59 minutes but 11 minutes after taking the lead, they were left to see red when defender Abeiku Ainoonson was dismissed for a second bookable offence and it handed Hasaacas a penalty.

Tennesoh Opoku scored from the spot in the 72nd minute as his goal shared the spoils amongst the two sides.

Kotoko still maintain their 10-point lead a the top with five more matches to go.

At the Kpando Park, Lions saw determined Aduana Stars side rally from a goal down to draw 1-1.

Mohammed Razir put Lions in the lead from the spot in the 59th minute but with ten minutes remaining on the clock, Godfred Saka got the equaliser for the bottom side in the log from another penalty.
