Kotoko still hold 9-point lead after Chelsea draw

Asante Kotoko maintained their 9-point at the top of the Glo Premier League after drawing 0-0 with champions, Berekum Chelsea on Wednesday.

The Porcupine Warriors will savour a point earned and their lead after rivals, Hearts of Oak also drew in Tarkwa.

Chelsea, playing at home failed to plant the ball past goalkeeper Soulama as striker Emmanuel Clottey came very close to breaking the deadlock at the Golden City Park.

Kotoko's Daniel Nii Adjei also came close in the tense fixture which saw one red to coach of the Porcupine Warriors, Maxwell Konadu in the second half.
