Asante Kotoko will begin their quest for continental glory in the CAF Champions League against Liberia's Barrack Young Controllers F.C (B.Y.C) next year.
The Ghanaian champions were drawn on Monday against the Liberian side in the preliminary round stage of the competition.
Fifty-two (52) clubs will be involved in the preliminary round to be joined by holders Al Ahly (Egypt), Coton Sport (Cameroon), TP Mazembe (DR Congo), Hilal (Sudan), CS Sfaxien (Tunisia) and Esperance Sportive de Tunis (Tunisia) at the 1/16th round.
Kotoko will host the first leg on the weekend on February 7-9, 2014 with the return game fixed for the weekend of February 14-16, 2014.
The Porcupine Warriors will attempt to reach the group stages after failing to reach the last-eight in their previous campaign.
Ghana's other representatives in the competition, Berekum Chelsea were paired with South Sudan side Atlabara FC.
The Berekum side will host the first leg on the weekend of February 7-9, 2014 with the return fixed for February 14-16, 2014.
Chelsea reached to the group stages of the 2011/12 CAF Champions League.
